A very good chance. 7 minutes into the match, Octavia's goalkeeper Goito Abenda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafa Almeida. Bazil Aballe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rômulo Camargo having to make a save. 10 minutes into the match, Barra EC's goal looked a bit too open when Lauro Abancens came free, but Rômulo Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute Osoro Abalos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo Camargo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Goito Abenda was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Leonardo Guerra capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonardo Guerra really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. An unexpected shot in the 25th minute by André Luís de Amaral got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Bazil Aballe sped through Barra EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rômulo Camargo. André Luís de Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bazil Aballe in the 36th minute of play forced Barra EC's goalkeeper Rômulo Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rômulo Camargo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bazil Aballe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barra EC's Rômulo Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bazil Aballe in the 40th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bazil Aballe was the one to do the kick off. When Octavia's Bazil Aballe in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barra EC's goalie prevented a goal. Osoro Abalos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bazil Aballe in the 66th minute of play forced Barra EC's goalkeeper Rômulo Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 played minutes Barra EC got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Gomes. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, André Luís de Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barra EC's supporters rose to their feet, but André Luís de Amaral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Goito Abenda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 72 played minutes Barra EC got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Guerra. 74 minutes into the match, Barra EC's goal looked a bit too open when Bazil Aballe came free, but Rômulo Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Octavia booed when Barra EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rômulo Camargo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bazil Aballe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Fernandinho Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bazil Aballe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rômulo Camargo having to make a save. Eusébio Freitas charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusébio Freitas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th match minute, Barra EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Freitas to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th of the match, Bazil Aballe tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Rômulo Camargo got in the way and made a wonderful save. Octavia's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Barra EC had won, even though Octavia had held more of the ball.
