Spectators: 7523 (Terracing: 5643, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Bazil Aballe started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Arturo Pirro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Honorio Abastas, 1-0. Octavia's Honorio Abastas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Octavia from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, ATLETICO MENDOZA's Arturo Pirro got a free kick in the 21st minute. Octavia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Anastasio Bittor scored to the left of an out of position Honorio Abastas, making the score, 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anastasio Bittor got free with Honorio Abastas in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute Hector Ferran suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 33 minutes into the game, Firmin Abello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Octavia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ATLETICO MENDOZA the free kick. ATLETICO MENDOZA's Anastasio Senon was substituted for Hector Ferran. In the 35th match minute, Octavia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Firmin Abello to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Arturo Pirro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Honorio Abastas. The goal made the score 4-0. Honorio Abastas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Pirro in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Belasko Abecia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Octavia's Honorio Abastas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Pirro in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 minutes, Anastasio Senon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ATLETICO MENDOZA and the Octavia players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Octavia's Honorio Abastas got control of the ball when Anastasio Bittor tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arturo Pirro was the one to do the kick off. Osoro Abalos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Jonathan Celio made a huge save. After a rather tough play, ATLETICO MENDOZA's Ignacio Jordy got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute of the match, Herminio Abechuco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Celio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 65 minutes into the game, Euloxu Abancens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Celio. Euloxu Abancens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Jonathan Celio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osoro Abalos in the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Bazil Aballe dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Celio, 4-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matias Txilar during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th match minute, ATLETICO MENDOZA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Txilar to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Octavia booed when ATLETICO MENDOZA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Jordy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Arturo Pirro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ATLETICO MENDOZA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Octavia's Honorio Abastas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Orlandus in the 88th minute of play. After 89 played minutes ATLETICO MENDOZA got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Orlandus. Bazil Aballe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jonathan Celio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ATLETICO MENDOZA had played much better football throughout.
