The Barra EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rômulo Camargo should have stopped the shot. Fernandinho Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Angelino Boni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rômulo Camargo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Angelino Boni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Rômulo Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rômulo Camargo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelino Boni's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 32nd match minute, Barra EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Guerra to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Angelino Boni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rômulo Camargo was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Barra EC's Rômulo Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Boni in the 43rd minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelino Boni to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luís de Amaral in the 57th minute of play forced BAC Belgrano de Cba's goalkeeper Baldomero Gelmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonardo Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. A collision led to BAC Belgrano de Cba getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Miguel Presebal hit a great ball. Rômulo Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Presebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The audience was convinced that Angelino Boni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rômulo Camargo was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Angelino Boni took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Rômulo Camargo to make any attempt to save it. BAC Belgrano de Cba's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
