With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelino Boni in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilmar de Mendonça saved Botafogo AP from getting behind. BAC Belgrano de Cba's Ivan Errolan got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 7 minutes, Miguel Presebal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BAC Belgrano de Cba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Presebal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Alejo Benitez fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BAC Belgrano de Cba's protests and gave Alejo Benitez a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Angelino Boni got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 13 minutes, Angelino Boni made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Botafogo AP's Gilmar de Mendonça tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Angelino Boni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Gilmar de Mendonça made a huge save. Gilmar de Mendonça came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by BAC Belgrano de Cba's Angelino Boni. But to his dismay, Angelino Boni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Basilio Mederi hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Angelino Boni succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 24th playminute. Angelino Boni in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gilmar de Mendonça, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Angelino Boni hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 34 played minutes BAC Belgrano de Cba got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Salvatore. A collision led to BAC Belgrano de Cba getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ivan Errolan hit a great ball. After 37 minutes, Angelo Salvatore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BAC Belgrano de Cba and the Botafogo AP players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes BAC Belgrano de Cba got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Salvatore. In the 45th minute, Miguel Presebal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caco Matos to make the kick off. Miguel Presebal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilmar de Mendonça having to make a save. Paolo Musko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maicon Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Botafogo AP's Maicon Veiga got a free kick in the 68th minute. Botafogo AP's Júlio Santana was substituted for Maicon Veiga. In the 73rd minute, Lino Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute of the match Sixto Benet sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilmar de Mendonça skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Caco Matos in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomero Gelmiro saved BAC Belgrano de Cba from getting behind. Edson Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Botafogo AP made a substitution. Artur Passos replaced Sílvio de Barros. In the 82nd minute, Edson Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute Miguel Presebal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilmar de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Presebal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilmar de Mendonça having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Presebal in the 90th minute of play forced Botafogo AP's goalkeeper Gilmar de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilmar de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Boni in the 93rd minute of play. Baldomero Gelmiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caco Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Botafogo AP players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for BAC Belgrano de Cba.
