After some careless play in the HEJA ESLÖV defense, Sten Lund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Villiam Holmberg. The HEJA ESLÖV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Villiam Holmberg should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the match, HEJA ESLÖV's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Lund came free, but Villiam Holmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Villiam Holmberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calle Askberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. HEJA ESLÖV's Villiam Holmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Lund in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Calle Askberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Söderhall fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Calle Askberg sped through HEJA ESLÖV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Villiam Holmberg. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Söderhall! In the 47th minute, Bengt Lenberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The wind increased when Joakim Sandberg made the kick off in the second half. Villiam Holmberg made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Calle Askberg sent off a good shot on target. Andreas Grönberg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 57 minutes into the match. After 60 played minutes Söderhall got a freekick which was hit by Bertil Öfverman. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Calle Askberg took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Villiam Holmberg to make any attempt to save it. If Calle Askberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Villiam Holmberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calle Askberg in the 76th minute of the match. HEJA ESLÖV's Villiam Holmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Gudmundsson in the 82nd minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Algot Tingberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute Billy Engström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göran Hellqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Calle Askberg made a precise shot to the right of Villiam Holmberg. HEJA ESLÖV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Söderhall walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
