The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexandre Marrodan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Söderhall's Alf Gudmundsson was substituted for Bengt Lenberg. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeraldo Manns was the one to do the kick off. Alexandre Marrodan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sten Lund in the 53rd minute. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Calle Askberg took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Alexandre Marrodan to make any attempt to save it. After 68 played minutes Söderhall got a freekick which was hit by Calle Askberg. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salvatore Lizondo during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th match minute, Manuel Rodríguez 1186 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvatore Lizondo to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the game, Calle Askberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alexandre Marrodan. But to his dismay, Sten Lund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Sten Lund received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alexandre Marrodan came out and tried to block the shot, but Sten Lund slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 81st minute. Calle Askberg kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Darío Kirck hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Maurín Legrand kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Söderhall played a much better game than Manuel Rodríguez 1186 and deserved their victory. The Manuel Rodríguez 1186 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
