An unexpectedly hard shot by Macit Zafer in the 43rd minute of play forced Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Valdemar Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Jacuitiba - FSCMZ could leave the field as winners, despite Blue Mountain State having more of the ball for most of the match.
