Spectators: 7467 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Vinará FC's Gustavo Aznar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in MAN FC's zone, Amadeo Esquipula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paolo Maura came out of the goal and Amadeo Esquipula tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eleuterio Frederico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Maura having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 13 minutes into the game, when Agustin Illan put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vinará FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Esteve Tonio, was totally fooled by MAN FC's Angelo Beti, who 15 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A collision led to MAN FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Angelo Beti hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Cordera got free with Esteve Tonio in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of MAN FC booed when Vinará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Frederico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esteve Tonio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilberto Cordera went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 34 played minutes MAN FC got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Beltxe. Paolo Maura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Aznar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteve Tonio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Beltxe in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Norberto Hernando to strike the kick off in the second half. Gilberto Cordera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Tonio having to interfere. Esteve Tonio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Hernando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Beltxe in the 54th minute of play forced Vinará FC's goalkeeper Esteve Tonio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, MAN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Aznar came free, but Paolo Maura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to MAN FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Elvio Casomiro hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Bernardino Santxol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Vinará FC's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Hernando came free, but Esteve Tonio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, MAN FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Hernando to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Aznar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Maura having to interfere. After 82 played minutes Vinará FC got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Guter. After 89 minutes, Teodosio Gasteiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MAN FC and the Vinará FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
