After having played for 29 minutes, Jorge Cristofol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PLUMIN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Cristofol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Cristofol during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Filip Beligan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PLUMIN's Jorge Cristofol got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alin Tender made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavio Emeterio in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabin Ciorobîtcă in the 47th minute of play forced PLUMIN's goalkeeper Leonides Matteo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Cristofol to strike the kick off in the second half. Alin Tender showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Cristofol, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Leontin Corvin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goranesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Leontin Corvin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonides Matteo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rareș Trifănucă got free with Leonides Matteo in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonides Matteo went to the wrong direction when Virgil Şelaru was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Alin Tender showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Cristofol in the 76th minute of the match. The PLUMIN fans cheered their team off the field, for while Goranesti had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
