The ball went over the crossbar instead. Olavo de Carvalho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cacá Breckenfeld having to make a save. Cacá Breckenfeld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernani Custódio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabinho Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caco de Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Cacá Breckenfeld didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olavo de Carvalho went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Caco de Lima slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabinho Arruda. That made the score 1-1 after 16 minutes of play. Olavo de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacá Breckenfeld having to interfere. Albertinho Guimarães charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albertinho Guimarães the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for OTTO FC - FSCMZ! Ernani Custódio kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marcelinho Soeiro came free, but Fabinho Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Dedê Travassos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabinho Arruda, 2-1. Ernani Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Cacá Breckenfeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelinho Soeiro made a kick off. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Cacá Breckenfeld proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save OTTO FC - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. In the 54thth minute of the game Mané Penha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Cacá Breckenfeld was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Ernani Custódio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cacá Breckenfeld. Ernani Custódio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. After a rather tough play, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Osmar Abraão got a free kick in the 59th minute. Olavo de Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Tarrasque Voador F.C. booed when OTTO FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caco de Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 played minutes OTTO FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Marcelinho Soeiro. 69 minutes into the game, Ernani Custódio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OTTO FC - FSCMZ the free kick. After 69 played minutes Tarrasque Voador F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Custódio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho Soeiro in the 75th minute of play forced Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s goalkeeper Fabinho Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Olavo de Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mané Penha struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Cacá Breckenfeld didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tarrasque Voador F.C.. After a rather tough play, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Zé Roberto Veloso got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Fabinho Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Mané Penha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Mané Penha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cacá Breckenfeld breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cacá Breckenfeld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olavo de Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Mané Penha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Penha came free, but Cacá Breckenfeld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Caco de Lima had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabinho Arruda. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caco de Lima was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olavo de Carvalho got free with Cacá Breckenfeld in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The OTTO FC - FSCMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tarrasque Voador F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
