The KP Karmel fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when KP Karmel's Eugeniusz Grabski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Tomás Gajardo's late challenge caught a KP Karmel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adriano Rebolledo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
