Black Rose 1979's Zacarias Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor Brolin in the 2nd minute of play. Zacarias Abreu made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Tor Brolin sent off a good shot on target. In the 8th minute Boris Söderberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Black Rose 1979 getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Leo Vidal hit a great ball. Zacarias Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tor Brolin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Billy Hydén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor Brolin in the 35th minute of play forced Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Zacarias Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Karlsborg's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Vidal came free, but Billy Hydén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Tor Brolin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karlsborg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Rose 1979 the free kick. After 45 played minutes Karlsborg got a freekick which was hit by Tor Brolin. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wiktor Karlstedt to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Black Rose 1979's zone, Wiktor Karlstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Abreu came out of the goal and Wiktor Karlstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Billy Hydén made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leo Vidal in the 56th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Black Rose 1979's Maximiliano Dalmu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Billy Hydén. That made the score 1-2 after 63 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Vidal got free with Billy Hydén in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonardo Skarkman kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Maximiliano Dalmu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Rose 1979's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Dalmu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Billy Hydén breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th match minute, Black Rose 1979 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Ordono to maneuver through the defense. When Leonardo Skarkman fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karlsborg's protests and gave Leonardo Skarkman a yellow card for diving instead. After 88 played minutes Karlsborg got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Skarkman. The crowd rose to their feet as Norberto Medardo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Billy Hydén. That made the score 1-3 in the 89 minute of play. Leo Vidal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Billy Hydén made a huge save. When Wiktor Karlstedt fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karlsborg's protests and gave Wiktor Karlstedt a yellow card for diving instead. Wiktor Karlstedt hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Black Rose 1979 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
