Spectators: 7450 (Terracing: 5589, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Oséias de Alcântara started the match with the kick off. If Whitney Pelletier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 5 minutes into the match, Olavo Barbosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sal Schultz. ForestFire's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olavo Barbosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Green Squad FC's goalkeeper Wesley Ferreira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cyrus Keys kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Oséias de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Whitney Pelletier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Whitney Pelletier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to ForestFire getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Stephan Nava hit a great ball. Eliseu Guerra charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliseu Guerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Green Squad FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Eliseu Guerra hit a great ball. In the 35th minute of the match, Whitney Pelletier got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wesley Ferreira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Green Squad FC booed when ForestFire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Peterson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cyrus Keys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Green Squad FC's Olavo Barbosa got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute of the match, Cyrus Keys tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wesley Ferreira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Cyrus Keys made the kick off in the second half. Cyrus Keys took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wesley Ferreira. Wesley Ferreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 62nd match minute, ForestFire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Peterson to maneuver through the defense. Whitney Pelletier might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wesley Ferreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Whitney Pelletier ran back to his position shaking his head. When Enrique Peterson got free in front of the goal in the 71st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Wesley Ferreira was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Whitney Pelletier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley Ferreira having to interfere. Sal Schultz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio da Cunha in the 76th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Whitney Pelletier made a precise shot to the right of Wesley Ferreira. Green Squad FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. In the 88th minute, Enrique Peterson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseu Guerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enrique Peterson hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Eliseu Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Sal Schultz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Green Squad FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ForestFire.
