When Reginaldo Bastos came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Alfa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reginaldo Bastos couldn't finish the play. Abelardo Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. From close distance Jacinto de Sena pressed in the 1-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 10 minutes into the game. ForestFire's Sal Schultz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save ForestFire from getting a goal against them. 17 minutes into the game, ForestFire's Enrique Peterson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Léo Rosado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Jacinto de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto de Senas short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Sal Schultz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Jacinto de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfa FC's Léo Rosado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyrus Keys in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to ForestFire getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Enrique Peterson hit a great ball. In the 39th match minute, Alfa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro de Lara to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Jacinto de Sena kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sal Schultz. That made the score 2-1 in the 45 minute of play.

Léo Rosado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyrus Keys, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 54 played minutes, Alfa FC's Alan Paes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sal Schultz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alfa FC reached it. Sal Schultz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto de Sena in the 55th minute of the match. A collision led to ForestFire getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Stephan Nava hit a great ball. Sal Schultz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacinto de Sena went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. ForestFire's Sal Schultz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto de Sena in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to ForestFire getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Max Hawthorne hit a great ball. In the 66th minute of the match Alan Paes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sal Schultz skillfully saved the ball. Sal Schultz came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Alfa FC's Jacinto de Sena. But to his dismay, Jacinto de Sena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Whitney Pelletier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Reginaldo Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leandro de Lara hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. When Enrique Peterson came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the ForestFire fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Peterson couldn't finish the play. Dalmo Gaspar charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dalmo Gaspar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 84 played minutes Alfa FC got a freekick which was hit by Dalmo Gaspar. In the 93rd minute Jacinto de Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sal Schultz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfa FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ForestFire for a fine match.
