Atlanta's goalkeeper Braulio Berasko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cornelio Eneas. In the 12th minute Cornelio Eneas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Berasko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Arturo Flores had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remigio Piorno. C.A. Identidad Soberana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arturo Flores was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Braulio Berasko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Edorta, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 26th match minute, C.A. Identidad Soberana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Tadzio to maneuver through the defense. Remigio Piorno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arturo Flores went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Carlos Kauldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Piorno having to interfere. After a rather tough play, C. A. Atlanta's Honorio Oliverio got a free kick in the 38th minute. Cornelio Eneas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Braulio Berasko made a huge save. After the first half C. A. Atlanta were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cornelio Eneas to strike the kick off in the second half. Braulio Berasko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Eneas in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, C. A. Atlanta's Fidel Gonsalvo got a free kick in the 60th minute. C. A. Atlanta's Braulio Berasko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Eneas in the 64th minute of play. When Casimiro Edorta fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Identidad Soberana's protests and gave Casimiro Edorta a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes C. A. Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Federico Martxelin. In the 72nd minute, Federico Martxelin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C. A. Atlanta's Braulio Berasko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Eneas in the 79th minute of play. After 85 minutes, Arturo Flores mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Atlanta and the C.A. Identidad Soberana players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to C. A. Atlanta getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Arturo Flores hit a great ball. The supporters of C.A. Identidad Soberana booed when C. A. Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Oalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cornelio Eneas took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Braulio Berasko. Braulio Berasko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 92nd minute, Guillermo Txindoki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cornelio Eneas in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Braulio Berasko saved C. A. Atlanta from getting behind. The supporters of C.A. Identidad Soberana booed when C. A. Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Primeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. C. A. Atlanta were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over C.A. Identidad Soberana's much stronger midfield.
