Spectators: 7511 (Terracing: 5634, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Timoteo Goito got the match started through his kick off. In the 8th minute Timoteo Goito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Berasko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Goito came free, but Braulio Berasko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Kauldi came free, but Emiliano Veto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute of the match Ivan Oalo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emiliano Veto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, C. A. Atlanta's Carlos Kauldi got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute Timoteo Goito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Berasko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Cosme Amato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Gonsalvo in the 23rd minute of play forced La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Emiliano Veto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustavo Araoz took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Braulio Berasko. Braulio Berasko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Alonzo Leheren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Arturo Flores notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of La Scaloneta's Emiliano Veto. Emiliano Veto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of La Scaloneta booed when C. A. Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Flores didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Kauldi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, C. A. Atlanta's Braulio Berasko got control of the ball when Gustavo Araoz tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Gustavo Araoz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gustavo Araoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Braulio Berasko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Arturo Flores made the kick off in the second half. Arturo Flores's late challenge caught a La Scaloneta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arturo Flores helped the player get up and apologised. Arturo Flores kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Araoz came free, but Braulio Berasko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 minutes of play C. A. Atlanta's Carlos Kauldi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 68 played minutes C. A. Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Kauldi. 73 minutes into the game, Gustavo Araoz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Braulio Berasko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th minute, Gustavo Araoz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Braulio Berasko was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. If Gustavo Araoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alonzo Leheren in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Braulio Berasko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Araoz in the 90th minute of play forced C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Braulio Berasko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Scaloneta's Gustavo Araoz got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gustavo Araoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Araoz came free, but Braulio Berasko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Scaloneta's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
