Leões do Sul 53's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boulogne F.C. the free kick. In the 10th minute, Boulogne F.C.'s Fulgencio Luix dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Tarcisio Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jairo Hegoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Fulgencio Luix rounded Leões do Sul 53's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. With a little luck, Leões do Sul 53's Egídio Reis got control of the ball when Fulgencio Luix tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fulgencio Luix stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Serafino Gutierrez hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Fulgencio Luix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Leões do Sul 53's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Luix came free, but Egídio Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Ronaldinho de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tarcisio Baptista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Jairo Hegoi made a huge save. Moises Cai hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Tarcisio Baptista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leões do Sul 53 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. When Efrain Aureo fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boulogne F.C.'s protests and gave Efrain Aureo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, Boulogne F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Aureo to maneuver through the defense. Leões do Sul 53's Egídio Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Luix in the 92nd minute of play. Boulogne F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
