Jairo Hegoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Rudolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Braulio Sesuldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Luix in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match Boulogne F.C. got a corner. C. A. BELGRANO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Serafino Gutierrez ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Fulgencio Luix got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Braulio Sesuldo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Boulogne F.C. booed when C. A. BELGRANO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Urbez didn't get a good kick on the ball. C. A. BELGRANO's Braulio Sesuldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Duarte in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th match minute, C. A. BELGRANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Constancio to maneuver through the defense. Braulio Sesuldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Aureo in the 26th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Lucas Rudolfo could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Jairo Hegoi however easily saved by the left post. Jairo Hegoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Rudolfo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximino Blanco's late challenge caught a C. A. BELGRANO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximino Blanco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th minute, one of Boulogne F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Boulogne F.C.. If Lucas Rudolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hilario Duarte charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hilario Duarte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Boulogne F.C.'s Hilario Duarte got a free kick in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amador Mateus was the one to do the kick off. Jairo Hegoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Mateus in the 55th minute of play. Braulio Sesuldo made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Fulgencio Luix sent off a good shot on target. After 61 played minutes Boulogne F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Blanco. After 62 played minutes, C. A. BELGRANO's Lucas Rudolfo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jairo Hegoi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C. A. BELGRANO reached it. In the 63rd minute Lucas Rudolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Hegoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Moises Cai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Braulio Sesuldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 73 minutes into the match, Astor Nabar notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Boulogne F.C.'s Jairo Hegoi. Jairo Hegoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filomeno Canor during the 80th minute.
