Spectators: 7507 (Terracing: 5631, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Avo Märjamaa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Mădălin Petruescu put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Arvo Viksi. Victor Ciociu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avo Märjamaa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Filip Topală hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kuuno Vaarmets kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. If Vali Boeru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vali Boeru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Arvo Viksi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Doctor's Avo Märjamaa, in the 24th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Doctor. Victor Ciociu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avo Märjamaa, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute, Codruț Cruceru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Ciociu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avo Märjamaa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 played minutes Progresul Pitesti got a freekick which was hit by Filip Topală. Victor Ciociu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Avo Märjamaa in the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Progresul Pitesti's goal looked a bit too open when Avo Märjamaa came free, but Victor Ciociu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 played minutes Progresul Pitesti got a freekick which was hit by George Buteanu. In the 41st minute of the match Doctor got a corner. Progresul Pitesti's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raimo Saareoja ran over to the corner to take the kick. Filip Topală hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute of the match Raimo Saareoja shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victor Ciociu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 45 minutes of play, Doctor's Avo Märjamaa made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Ciociu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mădălin Petruescu made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Doctor! 57 minutes into the game, Mădălin Petruescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Arvo Viksi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Doctor's Arvo Viksi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mădălin Petruescu in the 61st minute of play. Avo Märjamaa scored 3-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victor Ciociu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mădălin Petruescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Arvo Viksi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arvo Viksi came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Progresul Pitesti's Vali Boeru. But to his dismay, Vali Boeru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Progresul Pitesti! In the 88th minute, Raimo Saareoja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Avo Märjamaa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Victor Ciociu came out and tried to block the shot, but Avo Märjamaa slotted it home off the left post making it 4-4 in the 94th minute. In the 98th minute Laur Konsa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Ciociu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
