Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) FK LIQENORET's Eris Aliu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Progresul Pitesti's Victor Ciociu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eris Aliu in the 7th minute of play. After 13 played minutes FK LIQENORET got a freekick which was hit by Fatos Myftiu. The referee gave Progresul Pitesti a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ion Ţeica, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FK LIQENORET's Hajredin Kamberi. 1-0. Victor Ciociu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eris Aliu in the 20th minute of play. After 23 minutes, Eris Aliu made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Progresul Pitesti's Victor Ciociu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, FK LIQENORET's Flamur Vreto got a free kick in the 28th minute. Matei Stelian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hajredin Kamberi having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Progresul Pitesti's goal looked a bit too open when Eris Aliu came free, but Victor Ciociu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Filip Topală hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Progresul Pitesti's goalkeeper Victor Ciociu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eris Aliu in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Ciociu saved Progresul Pitesti from getting behind. Eris Aliu scored 1-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victor Ciociu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 48 minutes into the game, Matei Stelian recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hajredin Kamberi. Matei Stelian showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matei Stelian made a kick off. Fatbardh Hazgani kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After having played for 60 minutes, Vali Boeru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Progresul Pitesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vali Boeru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Progresul Pitesti's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Eris Aliu scored to the left of an out of position Victor Ciociu, making the score, 2-3. The supporters of FK LIQENORET booed when Progresul Pitesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matei Stelian didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vali Boeru in the 70th minute of play forced FK LIQENORET's goalkeeper Hajredin Kamberi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hajredin Kamberi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vali Boeru in the 81st minute of play. The supporters of Progresul Pitesti booed when FK LIQENORET was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fatbardh Hazgani didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ilie Bran during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ilie Bran hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Matei Stelian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hajredin Kamberi having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Progresul Pitesti's goalkeeper Victor Ciociu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eris Aliu. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
