The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Jorge Niță put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Luís Donatello. With an all-out effort, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Luís Donatello threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Raebert Manzano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Patricio Garviras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Garviras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Donatello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marquinhos Abraão hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Luís Donatello acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 19th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dalmau Tuo. After some careless play in the S.E. Pindorama Eagles defense, Patricio Garviras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Donatello. The S.E. Pindorama Eagles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Donatello should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Patricio Garviras slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luís Donatello. That made the score 3-0 after 30 minutes of play. When Virgílio Rodrigues fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.E. Pindorama Eagles's protests and gave Virgílio Rodrigues a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th match minute Jorge Niță ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Luís Donatello. 4-0. The supporters of Imperio Catatumbo de Lara booed when S.E. Pindorama Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raebert Manzano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of S.E. Pindorama Eagles booed when Imperio Catatumbo de Lara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nazario Monteserin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Pindorama Eagles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Donatello should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd minute Patricio Garviras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Patricio Garviras notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Luís Donatello. Luís Donatello was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luís Donatello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Garviras, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute, Rubio Pando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Donatello was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubio Pando in the 76th minute of play forced S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goalkeeper Luís Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Garviras came free, but Luís Donatello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Garviras in the 79th minute of the match. André Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After 92 minutes of play, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Patricio Garviras made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Donatello was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luís Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Garviras in the 96th minute of the match. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
