After 10 played minutes Samuel Cordeiro rounded Fast layne Fc's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. 16 minutes into the game, Delfim dos Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fast layne Fc the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Felippe Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fast layne Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Felippe Macedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fellipe Albuquerque breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the S.E. Pindorama Eagles defense, João Pedro dos Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fellipe Albuquerque. The S.E. Pindorama Eagles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fellipe Albuquerque should have stopped the shot. After 24 minutes, Virgílio Rodrigues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.E. Pindorama Eagles and the Fast layne Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Fast layne Fc's zone, Samuel Cordeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armandinho Rosa came out of the goal and Samuel Cordeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Charles Valadares fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fast layne Fc's protests and gave Charles Valadares a yellow card for diving instead. Charles Valadares hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Samuel Cordeiro hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Fellipe Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pedro dos Santos in the 35th minute of play. Felippe Macedo got a throw-in 42 minutes in the game and the ball was received by João Pedro dos Santos. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Richard Cosme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pindorama Eagles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Fast layne Fc's Armandinho Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Cordeiro in the 55th minute of play. Armandinho Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernani Simões in the 70th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Amílton Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fast layne Fc made a substitution. Nilmar Prado replaced Cláudio Lago. After 78 played minutes Fast layne Fc got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Dias. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, João Pedro dos Santos took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Fellipe Albuquerque to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Fast layne Fc players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
