Celio Tijero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Wilson Meireles struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Celio Tijero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jundiaí -DMZ-. Vivaldo Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vivaldo Monteiro fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jundiaí -DMZ-'s protests and gave Vivaldo Monteiro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Jundiaí -DMZ-'s Vivaldo Monteiro got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edmundo Hermes during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edmundo Hermes hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute Vivaldo Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celio Tijero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Jundiaí -DMZ-'s Wilson Meireles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celio Tijero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Celio Tijero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vivaldo Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claus Vellon to make the kick off. Alberto Terrazas kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Wilson Meireles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Chigüires De Mogadiscio getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Claus Vellon hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Jundiaí -DMZ-'s Márcio Berger got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute of the match Tadeo Sarmiento shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olavo Diniz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dráusio Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Celio Tijero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vinícius Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fortun Amieva kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Edmundo Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celio Tijero having to interfere. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Celio Tijero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Hermes in the 90th minute of play. The Jundiaí -DMZ- fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Jundiaí -DMZ-'s Dráusio Moura looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
