Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Benjamin Vedillo kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Benjamin Vedillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heriberto Walton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Amor took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Heriberto Walton. Heriberto Walton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jarrett Poirier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Segundo Hartz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Quincy Minor kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Heriberto Walton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Amor, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 18 minutes, Esteban Ioritz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quitilipi and the Vancouver Reds players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Quitilipi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Ioritz to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the game, Quitilipi's Cristian Amor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Heriberto Walton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 27th minute of the match, Jarrett Poirier got a very nice opportunity to score, but Segundo Hartz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 29 minutes into the match, Benjamin Vedillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Heriberto Walton. Vancouver Reds's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin Vedillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Teofilo Leobardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heriberto Walton having to interfere. In the 35th minute Quincy Minor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Hartz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 played minutes Vancouver Reds got a freekick which was hit by Maynard Pike. 38 minutes into the match, Vancouver Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Ioritz came free, but Heriberto Walton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Jarrett Poirier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Quincy Minor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quincy Minor in the 45th minute of play forced Quitilipi's goalkeeper Segundo Hartz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Quitilipi were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jarrett Poirier to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Quincy Minor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 57 minutes of play Vancouver Reds's Quincy Minor was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Quincy Minor kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Cristian Amor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Maynard Pike hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vancouver Reds's Heriberto Walton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Amor in the 67th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Benjamin Vedillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quitilipi's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Vedillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heriberto Walton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Benjamin Vedillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Heriberto Walton. That made the score 0-5 in the 74 minute of play. Heriberto Walton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Amor in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Vancouver Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Cai came free, but Heriberto Walton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quitilipi were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Vancouver Reds's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Esteban Ioritz took the corner. The corner led Quitilipi's Esteban Ioritz to fire away a dangerous shot which Heriberto Walton despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Luther Landrum hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Vancouver Reds's Heriberto Walton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Amor in the 84th minute of play. Heriberto Walton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Vedillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Vedillo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Heriberto Walton firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jarrett Poirier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Quitilipi eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
