After having played for 39 minutes, Teodoro Pitin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mezh Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Pitin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute Armandinho Vergílio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Lluterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimiro Lluterio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton Romero in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Mezh Team's Vladimiro Lluterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Ramos in the 51st minute of play. After 56 played minutes Mezh Team got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Cordara. Mezh Team's Vladimiro Lluterio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Mezh Team from getting a goal against them. Vladimiro Lluterio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evandro Lago in the 59th minute. Arnaldo Ramos struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Vladimiro Lluterio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.A. Francana. In the 66th minute, Evandro Lago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vladimiro Lluterio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Arnaldo Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Lluterio having to interfere. Mezh Team's Pedro Gregory was substituted for Angel Mirande. The Mezh Team fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. A.A. Francana were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
