The Galena Kielce fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walery Jaktorowo should have stopped the shot. After having played for 12 minutes, Jurand Kluczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galena Kielce's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jurand Kluczyk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Azli Seah was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 16 minutes into the match. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Albirex Niigata FC! The supporters of Galena Kielce booed when Albirex Niigata FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hidayat Hock didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute Hidayat Hock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walery Jaktorowo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Albirex Niigata FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Galena Kielce.
