If Lisandro Berenguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anier Chepe kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Severiano Calixto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute Tomás Clementi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Chepe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adhemar Torres during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Petardo Futebol e Surf's Adhemar Torres got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Petardo Futebol e Surf's Belmiro Veiga suffered a fractured collar bone after 33 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 33 minutes into the game, Lisandro Berenguer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villa Ballester FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Petardo Futebol e Surf the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adhemar Torres in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgardo Librado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adhemar Torres to make the kick off. Dé Ceresso scored 2-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgardo Librado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgardo Librado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adhemar Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adhemar Torres in the 60th minute of play forced Villa Ballester FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Librado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Dé Ceresso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgardo Librado was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Armando Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Clementi in the 71st minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Villa Ballester FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adhemar Torres came free, but Edgardo Librado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 played minutes Petardo Futebol e Surf got a freekick which was hit by Marcelinho de Lara. Villa Ballester FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Petardo Futebol e Surf had won, even though Villa Ballester FC had held more of the ball.
