Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Napoleon Kapinos took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 8th minute, Nelsinho Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emil Sakowicz's late challenge caught a Espigão Steamrollers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emil Sakowicz helped the player get up and apologised. Jerzy Duszenski stood somewhat misplaced when Zé Carlos Paranaense came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 14 minute. After a defensive mix-up in Espigão Steamrollers's zone, Napoleon Kapinos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Catarinense came out of the goal and Napoleon Kapinos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of FA Sandtown booed when Espigão Steamrollers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luiz Zanette didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicente Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Sakowicz in the 20th minute of the match. When Nelsinho Lopes fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espigão Steamrollers's protests and gave Nelsinho Lopes a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes Espigão Steamrollers got a freekick which was hit by Nelsinho Lopes. In the 23rd minute Emil Sakowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Espigão Steamrollers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Luiz Zanette to maneuver through the defense. If Emil Sakowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Espigão Steamrollers's goal looked a bit too open when Napoleon Kapinos came free, but Vicente Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 played minutes FA Sandtown got a freekick which was hit by Napoleon Kapinos. Válter Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jerzy Duszenski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Válter Dantas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jerzy Duszenski. Válter Dantas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Válter Dantas was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, FA Sandtown's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Quadros came free, but Jerzy Duszenski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Carlos Paranaense scored 3-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jerzy Duszenski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th minute, Emil Sakowicz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vicente Catarinense. The goal made the score 3-2. If Zé Carlos Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Carlos Paranaense in the 61st minute of play forced FA Sandtown's goalkeeper Jerzy Duszenski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Válter Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jerzy Duszenski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Espigão Steamrollers fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Espigão Steamrollers's Zé Carlos Paranaense looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Emil Sakowicz was shown his second yellow card after 77 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Espigão Steamrollers booed when FA Sandtown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Sakowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bogdan Miecznikowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Catarinense having to interfere. Vicente Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszek Zahemski in the 94th minute of play. There was no doubt that Espigão Steamrollers were the better team. Espigão Steamrollers's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
