Vasyl Shevel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Canor Carasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bakar Heneses during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Javiar Jordan kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 25 minutes, Maxym Kozyrskyi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Ruh Lviv and the Deportivo ScrugenFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Ruh Lviv fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Deportivo ScrugenFC a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rencio Peral, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Ruh Lviv's Vasyl Shevel. 0-1. Gennadiy Getsko's late challenge caught a Deportivo ScrugenFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gennadiy Getsko helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute, one of FC Ruh Lviv:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Ruh Lviv. 34 minutes into the match, Canor Carasa notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC Ruh Lviv's Vasyl Shevel. Vasyl Shevel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Marcelo Deco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo ScrugenFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Deco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vasyl Shevel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Javiar Jordan hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Maxym Kozyrskyi got his second yellow card in the match during the 46th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, FC Ruh Lviv's Maxym Kozyrskyi got a free kick in the 47th minute. FC Ruh Lviv's Vasyl Shevel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rencio Peral in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Canor Carasa was the one to do the kick off. Gasteiz Erauzquin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo ScrugenFC's Bakar Heneses slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vasyl Shevel. That made the score 0-5 after 60 minutes of play. Deportivo ScrugenFC's Canor Carasa got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Illja Muzychuk charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Illja Muzychuk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Illja Muzychuk hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute of the match Rencio Peral shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vasyl Shevel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 74th minute, Kostyantyn Tereschenko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bakar Heneses scored 0-6 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vasyl Shevel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to FC Ruh Lviv getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Valeriy Ryabchuk hit a great ball. Vasyl Shevel acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 88th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rencio Peral. Mykyta Gvozdevych's late challenge caught a Deportivo ScrugenFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mykyta Gvozdevych helped the player get up and apologised. Mykyta Gvozdevych kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Canor Carasa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vasyl Shevel firmly grabbed it by the left post. 95 minutes into the game, Gasteiz Erauzquin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vasyl Shevel. Gasteiz Erauzquin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. When the match was over Deportivo ScrugenFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Ruh Lviv throughout the match.
