The referee ignored Saga TF's protests and gave August Gamst a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Saga TF got a freekick which was hit by August Gamst. Ruslan Danylovskyi took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrik Langholm. Henrik Langholm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. FC Ruh Lviv's Vasyl Shevel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save FC Ruh Lviv from getting a goal against them. Jan-Frode Sørby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute of the match, Jan-Frode Sørby got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vasyl Shevel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 27 minutes of play, FC Ruh Lviv's Ruslan Danylovskyi made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henrik Langholm was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 29th minute, Ruslan Danylovskyi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrik Langholm was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Henrik Langholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mykyta Gvozdevych in the 33rd minute of the match. If Olexiy Golyuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 played minutes FC Ruh Lviv got a freekick which was hit by Ruslan Danylovskyi. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruslan Danylovskyi during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Saga TF booed when FC Ruh Lviv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruslan Danylovskyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st match minute, FC Ruh Lviv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olexiy Golyuk to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Frode Sørby came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vasyl Shevel could save by the left post. If Jan-Frode Sørby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC Ruh Lviv's Kostyantyn Tereschenko got a free kick in the 47th minute. The Saga TF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Ruh Lviv were winning 0-4.

Henrik Langholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruslan Danylovskyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Anatoliy Batyuk's late challenge caught a Saga TF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anatoliy Batyuk helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Ruh Lviv's Anatoliy Batyuk got a free kick in the 61st minute. Vasyl Shevel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf-Inge Kruse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jan-Frode Sørby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saga TF's Henrik Langholm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Saga TF from getting a goal against them. With 74 minutes on the clock, Jens Garberg commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Saga TF getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Jens Garberg hit a great ball. FC Ruh Lviv's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 77th minute of the game, when Petro Dyachuk after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Saga TF's goal. Petro Dyachuk was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Henrik Langholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olexiy Golyuk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the game, Valentyn Lysogir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Ruh Lviv's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saga TF the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Ruh Lviv's Valentyn Lysogir got a free kick in the 84th minute. Jan-Frode Sørby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Ruh Lviv's Ruslan Danylovskyi got a free kick in the 88th minute. Henrik Langholm made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Mykyta Gvozdevych sent off a good shot on target.
