The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Aşık Özgenalp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MegaFenerbahce's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave North Port UTD the free kick. In the 3rd minute, Aşık Özgenalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4th match minute, MegaFenerbahce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kuzey Baran to maneuver through the defense. Zühtü Eryavuz, 5 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 7 played minutes MegaFenerbahce got a freekick which was hit by Aras Görkem Can. Tuncay Okkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ömür Sağanalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to MegaFenerbahce getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Aşık Özgenalp hit a great ball. Ahmet Rıfat Tanyeli hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Ömür Sağanalp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The North Port UTD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aras Görkem Can during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, Aras Görkem Can hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MegaFenerbahce's Tuncay Okkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ömür Sağanalp in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, MegaFenerbahce's goal looked a bit too open when Ömür Sağanalp came free, but Tuncay Okkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of North Port UTD booed when MegaFenerbahce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Rıfat Tanyeli didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Ömür Sağanalp dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tuncay Okkan, 0-5.
