The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the North Port UTD defense, Leandro Florin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arif Ozan Bolat. The North Port UTD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arif Ozan Bolat should have stopped the shot. Arif Ozan Bolat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cesar Jenaro's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. The audience was convinced that Birkan Sarik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodosio Macerio was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Arif Ozan Bolat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cesar Jenaro went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Birkan Sarik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Teodosio Macerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Mark struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Arif Ozan Bolat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvarado de Mar del Plata. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Birkan Sarik made a kick off. Zühtü Eryavuz hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. If Rodolfo Mark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Cesar Jenaro put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Arif Ozan Bolat. When Birkan Sarik came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the North Port UTD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Birkan Sarik couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Cesar Jenaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arif Ozan Bolat was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 67 minutes into the match, North Port UTD's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Jenaro came free, but Arif Ozan Bolat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arif Ozan Bolat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cesar Jenaro went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Rodolfo Mark took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arif Ozan Bolat. Arif Ozan Bolat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. A collision led to Alvarado de Mar del Plata getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Rodolfo Mark hit a great ball. Fernando Pero kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 82 played minutes Cesar Jenaro rounded North Port UTD's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-8. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Rodolfo Mark managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvarado de Mar del Plata's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Mark was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arif Ozan Bolat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Rodolfo Mark fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alvarado de Mar del Plata's protests and gave Rodolfo Mark a yellow card for diving instead.
