In the 7th minute, Benedicto Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santiago Jatsu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 8th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Isidoro Aguilera. Santiago Jatsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Iliana in the 9th minute of the match. Margarita's Santiago Jatsu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Margarita from getting a goal against them. After 11 minutes, Benedicto Torres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Margarita and the Copetonas AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes Margarita got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Torres. In the 14th minute, Simon Hats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santiago Jatsu made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Luis Gamus sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Copetonas AFC booed when Margarita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute Marciano Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Urritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Copetonas AFC's Gaudencio Iliana dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Herminio Remir kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Margarita's Atilano Jeraldo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Copetonas AFC. After a rather tough play, Copetonas AFC's Isidoro Aguilera got a free kick in the 35th minute. Inocencio Urritz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 39 minutes of play, Margarita's Marciano Sancho made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inocencio Urritz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaudencio Iliana got free with Santiago Jatsu in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marciano Sancho made a kick off. Santiago Jatsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Gamus, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Santiago Jatsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaudencio Iliana in the 52nd minute of play. But to his dismay, Honorato Tauro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 70 played minutes Margarita got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Jeraldo. Santiago Jatsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaudencio Iliana in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Copetonas AFC's Gaudencio Iliana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santiago Jatsu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 79 minutes into the match, Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Tauro came free, but Santiago Jatsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Copetonas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Sancho came free, but Inocencio Urritz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Margarita's Hilario Rami got a free kick in the 86th minute. Luis Gamus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Gamus scored 4-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santiago Jatsu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luis Gamus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santiago Jatsu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Copetonas AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Margarita for a fine match.
