Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tiburcio Ricart started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Dario Eutropio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sune Alström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aron Lundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute Robustiano Weather shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sune Alström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Wrexham AFC's Robustiano Weather got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 11 played minutes Segmon IF got a freekick which was hit by Aron Lundberg. When Robustiano Weather came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Wrexham AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robustiano Weather couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the match, Segmon IF's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Eutropio came free, but Sune Alström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Eutropio in the 19th minute of play forced Segmon IF's goalkeeper Sune Alström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiburcio Ricart in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sune Alström saved Segmon IF from getting behind. Nils Danielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Ekaitz having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Segmon IF's Dag Asserlind seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dag Asserlind the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Segmon IF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dag Asserlind had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 30 minutes into the game, one of Segmon IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Wrexham AFC's Matias Xabel got a free kick in the 39th minute. Higinio Ekaitz came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Segmon IF's Charlie Lind. But to his dismay, Charlie Lind quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Sune Alström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Eutropio, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charlie Lind to make the kick off. Higinio Ekaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Lind in the 52nd minute of play. After 54 played minutes Wrexham AFC got a freekick which was hit by Guido Lordi. In the 66th minute, Dario Eutropio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Tiburcio Ricarts short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Sune Alström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Charlie Lind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Charlie Lind left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Segmon IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Charlie Lind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Higinio Ekaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Segmon IF's Sune Alström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Ricart in the 86th minute of play. A hard shot 90 in the game by Tiburcio Ricart from a close distance when the talented Sune Alström managed to make a qualified save. Segmon IF's players were relieved. Wrexham AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
