Mikolaj Resel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 7th minute, Iwo Jakisz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RW AHLEN-KNURÓW fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 14th minute Lenny Massenhove shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikolaj Resel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iwo Jakisz during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Iwo Jakisz kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Kryspin Poniewaz's late challenge caught a Fauna Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kryspin Poniewaz helped the player get up and apologised. Mikolaj Resel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerard Helssen went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Octave Hacke kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. A hard shot 31 in the game by Iwo Jakisz from a close distance when the talented Jan De Geyter managed to make a qualified save. Fauna Utd's players were relieved. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iwo Jakisz to strike the kick off in the second half. Lucjan Dropinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan De Geyter having to interfere. Jean Breugelmans kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 62 minutes of play, RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Iwo Jakisz made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan De Geyter was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gerard Helssen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikolaj Resel having to interfere. Iwo Jakisz took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan De Geyter. Jan De Geyter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. After 81 minutes, Wiktor Gomolka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RW AHLEN-KNURÓW and the Fauna Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Wiktor Gomolka got a free kick in the 81st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Gerard Helssen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fauna Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerard Helssen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikolaj Resel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to RW AHLEN-KNURÓW getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Lucjan Dropinski hit a great ball. A hard and well directed shot from Henri-Xavier Justus led 87 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Mikolaj Resel became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 4-4. Jan De Geyter came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Iwo Jakisz. But to his dismay, Iwo Jakisz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-4. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW had won after a very even match.
