Spectators: 7503 (Terracing: 5628, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Olav Nydal got the match started through his kick off. Gerard Helssen did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Kai-Arne Ulset 4 minutes into the match. Kai-Arne Ulset showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lenny Massenhove in the 8th minute of the match. Birger Engdal hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Kai-Arne Ulset was a little too slow when Gerard Helssen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 2-0. When Karel-Jan Coryn fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fauna Utd's protests and gave Karel-Jan Coryn a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Fauna Utd got a freekick which was hit by Karel-Jan Coryn. With his leg Kai-Arne Ulset managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Fauna Utd's Gerard Helssen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gjøran Nome hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olav Nydal in the 25th minute of play forced Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Jan De Geyter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olav Nydal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan De Geyter having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fauna Utd's zone, Peter Mogen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan De Geyter came out of the goal and Peter Mogen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Fauna Utd defense, Peter Mogen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan De Geyter. The Fauna Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan De Geyter should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Fauna Utd booed when KEZ Toppfotball was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birger Engdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kai-Arne Ulset made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lenny Massenhove in the 36th minute. Olav Nydal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan De Geyter having to interfere. If Peter Mogen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerard Helssen in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kai-Arne Ulset, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Gerard Helssen made the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 51st minute by Peter Mogen got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Kai-Arne Ulset took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerard Helssen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, KEZ Toppfotball's Gjøran Nome got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 59thth minute of the game Gerard Helssen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KEZ Toppfotball's Kai-Arne Ulset was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kai-Arne Ulset took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerard Helssen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lenny Massenhove recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to KEZ Toppfotball getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Gjermund Kårstad hit a great ball. Patrik Aabel's late challenge caught a Fauna Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrik Aabel helped the player get up and apologised. Patrik Aabel hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Lenny Massenhove sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Angvik's late challenge caught a Fauna Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Angvik helped the player get up and apologised. Sebastian Angvik hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, KEZ Toppfotball's goal looked a bit too open when Gerard Helssen came free, but Kai-Arne Ulset reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Fauna Utd fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Fauna Utd's Gerard Helssen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fauna Utd fully deserved thier win.
