Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gerard Helssen took the kick off in the first half of the match. Josh Ben-Ari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Raniers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th match minute, Maccabi Netanya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barel Gavrilov to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the game, Karel-Jan Coryn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fauna Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maccabi Netanya the free kick. Karel-Jan Coryn kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The supporters of Maccabi Netanya booed when Fauna Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lenny Massenhove didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan De Geyter was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Mati Adamski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mati Adamski really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Lenny Massenhove recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mati Adamski succeeded in the game's 26th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. In the 30thth minute of the game Gerard Helssen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maccabi Netanya's Josh Ben-Ari was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. William Geldhof hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. If Mati Adamski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerard Helssen in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Josh Ben-Ari prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Raniers in the 44th minute of play forced Maccabi Netanya's goalkeeper Josh Ben-Ari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Mati Adamski made a precise shot to the right of Jan De Geyter. Fauna Utd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mati Adamski was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Fauna Utd defense, Mati Adamski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan De Geyter. The Fauna Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan De Geyter should have stopped the shot. Mati Adamski succeeded in the game's 62nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-1. When Maccabi Netanya's Mati Adamski in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fauna Utd's goalie prevented a goal. Raz Factor hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Fauna Utd's Gerard Helssen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Josh Ben-Ari. Josh Ben-Ari yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-2. In the 74th minute, Mati Adamski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Josh Ben-Ari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerard Helssen in the 75th minute of the match. Henri-Xavier Justus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Josh Ben-Ari came out and tried to block the shot, but Henri-Xavier Justus slotted it home off the left post making it 5-3 in the 79th minute. Gerard Helssen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josh Ben-Ari having to interfere. Henri-Xavier Justus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Josh Ben-Ari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Gerard Helssen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fauna Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-4. After 88 played minutes Fauna Utd got a freekick which was hit by William Geldhof. Jan De Geyter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simeon Zibak in the 91st minute of the match. After 96 played minutes Fauna Utd got a freekick which was hit by Jean Breugelmans. Maccabi Netanya were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Fauna Utd for a fine match.
