After 3 played minutes Fauna Utd got a freekick which was hit by Karel-Jan Coryn. Ciriaco Teodor kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. When Karel-Jan Coryn fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fauna Utd's protests and gave Karel-Jan Coryn a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th match minute, Fauna Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karel-Jan Coryn to maneuver through the defense. After 13 played minutes Soflov FC got a freekick which was hit by Jose Polentzi. When Soflov FC's Esteve Elequemedo in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fauna Utd's goalie prevented a goal. Freddy Arias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerard Helssen in the 24th minute. Gerard Helssen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Freddy Arias when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Soflov FC fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Soflov FC's Esteve Elequemedo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerard Helssen in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freddy Arias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan De Geyter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Elequemedo in the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerard Helssen in the 43rd minute of play forced Soflov FC's goalkeeper Freddy Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esteve Elequemedo was the one to do the kick off. Freddy Arias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerard Helssen's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. If Esteve Elequemedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61stth minute of the game Gerard Helssen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soflov FC's Freddy Arias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Soflov FC's Gilberto Barros got a free kick in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Soflov FC's Alonzo Fonso got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67thth minute of the game Gerard Helssen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soflov FC's Freddy Arias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 69 minutes, Gerard Helssen made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Soflov FC's Freddy Arias tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Gerard Helssen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Polentzi hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Esteve Elequemedo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 84th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 85 minutes of play Soflov FC's Jose Polentzi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Soflov FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Jose Polentzi hit a great ball. Freddy Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerard Helssen, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 88th minute, Gerard Helssen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Freddy Arias was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerard Helssen in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddy Arias saved Soflov FC from getting behind. Fauna Utd's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
