An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Cordarrel in the 9th minute of play forced Aysouraguán's goalkeeper Baldemer Sevilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldemer Sevilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Cesario in the 24th minute of the match. Nicholas Cainzos's late challenge caught a Deportivo Pucho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicholas Cainzos helped the player get up and apologised. Rogelio Cordarrel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldemer Sevilla having to interfere. Baldemer Sevilla was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Tomás Checa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomás Checa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If José Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Deportivo Pucho booed when Aysouraguán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apal Colsa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Deportivo Pucho's Tomás Checa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldemer Sevilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Aysouraguán getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Nicholas Cainzos hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, José Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baldemer Sevilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeledon Cesario's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. After 65 minutes, Zeledon Cesario made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Aysouraguán's Baldemer Sevilla tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Zeledon Cesario took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldemer Sevilla. Baldemer Sevilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After 73 minutes of play, Deportivo Pucho's Zeledon Cesario made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldemer Sevilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Aysouraguán booed when Deportivo Pucho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo James didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Aysouraguán's zone, Zeledon Cesario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldemer Sevilla came out of the goal and Zeledon Cesario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the match, Aysouraguán's José Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgardo Botello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th minute, one of Deportivo Pucho:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Deportivo Pucho. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Deportivo Pucho fully deserved thier win.
