Club Atlético Magallanes's Alberto Cordeal got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vladimiro Jesco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Blas Sal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Epifanio Licerio made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Evelio Frechoso sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute, Erasmo Gabon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Simoneta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Simoneta FC's Epifanio Licerio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Simoneta FC from getting a goal against them. Simoneta FC's Epifanio Licerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Cordeal in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Tobias Che sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Club Atlético Magallanes's Blas Sal didn't even have to move. When Alberto Cordeal fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Magallanes's protests and gave Alberto Cordeal a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Club Atlético Magallanes getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Alberto Cordeal hit a great ball. Club Atlético Magallanes's Alberto Cordeal got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the game, Tobias Che was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Simoneta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Magallanes the free kick. After 38 played minutes Simoneta FC got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Che. Epifanio Licerio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Evelio Frechoso. Augusto Xabier took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Epifanio Licerio. Epifanio Licerio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Epifanio Licerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Cordeal, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto Cordeal made a kick off. Epifanio Licerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Xabier in the 57th minute of play. The long shot by Dario Peli in the 60th minute really tested Blas Sal's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Augusto Xabier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Simoneta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Xabier came free, but Epifanio Licerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Simoneta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Rosalio to maneuver through the defense. Augusto Xabier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Magallanes's Prospero Guifre got a free kick in the 71st minute. The audience cheered loudly when Vladimiro Jesco's long shot in the 72nd minute became 2-3 when the ball went to the left of and passed Blas Sal. Timoteo Rosalio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 77th match minute, Simoneta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Che to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Club Atlético Magallanes getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Prospero Guifre hit a great ball. Alberto Cordeal took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Epifanio Licerio. Epifanio Licerio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. In the 93rd minute, Augusto Xabier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
