The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bruly's Mathias-Alexander De Block proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Bruly from getting a goal against them. Bruly's Mathias-Alexander De Block played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Ipar in the 4th minute of play. Mathias-Alexander De Block was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Astor Ipar. Mathias-Alexander De Block showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Gabon, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. When Simoneta FC's Erasmo Gabon in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bruly's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marten Van Halssbeeck in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Licerio saved Simoneta FC from getting behind. In the 14th minute, Vladimiro Jesco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Simoneta FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Herminio Erramun hit a great ball. Simoneta FC's Epifanio Licerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marten Van Halssbeeck in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Dominik Claessens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erasmo Gabon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruly's Mathias-Alexander De Block played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Ipar in the 33rd minute of play. Erasmo Gabon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mathias-Alexander De Block came out and tried to block the shot, but Erasmo Gabon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 35th minute. With a little luck, Bruly's Mathias-Alexander De Block got control of the ball when Erasmo Gabon tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Marten Van Halssbeeck put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Epifanio Licerio. Angelo Gelens charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Gelens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bruly's Angelo Gelens got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the game, Simoneta FC's Erasmo Gabon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mathias-Alexander De Block made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erasmo Gabon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Erasmo Gabon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 51st minute, Erasmo Gabon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mathias-Alexander De Block was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. A collision led to Bruly getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Niki Roelants hit a great ball. Mathias-Alexander De Block showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Gabon, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Vladimiro Jesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 played minutes, Simoneta FC's Dario Peli shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mathias-Alexander De Block came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Simoneta FC reached it. The Simoneta FC fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Simoneta FC's Erasmo Gabon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Astor Ipar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mathias-Alexander De Block stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erasmo Gabon's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Mathias-Alexander De Block showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Gabon in the 85th minute of the match. When Marten Van Halssbeeck in the 89th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Epifanio Licerio kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 4-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 95th match minute, Bruly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Gelens to maneuver through the defense. Simoneta FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bruly for a fine match.
