The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Acácio de Queirós during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Club Atlético Magallanes's Evelio Frechoso tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Eliseu Botelho charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliseu Botelho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th minute, Eliseu Botelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Acácio de Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Augusto Xabier might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Breno de Carvalho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augusto Xabier ran back to his position shaking his head. 28 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Magallanes's Evelio Frechoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Breno de Carvalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luan Amorim during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 played minutes TaTeRo Boys got a freekick which was hit by Luan Amorim. In the 39th match minute, TaTeRo Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Simões to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Alberto Cordeal made a precise shot to the right of Breno de Carvalho. TaTeRo Boys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Club Atlético Magallanes's Teo Basualdo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luan Amorim, made in the 43rd minute of the game. Breno de Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Cordeal, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Alberto Cordeal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The TaTeRo Boys players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Atlético Magallanes were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Alberto Cordeal made the kick off in the second half. Evelio Frechoso was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Augusto Xabier scored 0-4 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Breno de Carvalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Luiz Guilherme Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teo Basualdo charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teo Basualdo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 72 played minutes Club Atlético Magallanes got a freekick which was hit by Teo Basualdo. In the 77th minute, Luiz Guilherme Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Breno de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Cordeal in the 78th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, TaTeRo Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Cordeal came free, but Breno de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Atlético Magallanes played a much better game than TaTeRo Boys and deserved their victory. The TaTeRo Boys players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
