Edgardo Botello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luc Van Linthaut in the 15th minute of play. Tomás Checa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Mathias-Alexander De Block when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Luc Van Linthaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Danilo Paz kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Mathias-Alexander De Block took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Ermengol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgardo Botello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luc Van Linthaut's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. The audience was convinced that Luc Van Linthaut's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgardo Botello was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. When Benicio Librado fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Pucho's protests and gave Benicio Librado a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Deportivo Pucho getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Benicio Librado hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pucho's goal looked a bit too open when Luc Van Linthaut came free, but Edgardo Botello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Pucho's Danilo Paz got a free kick in the 44th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomás Checa to strike the kick off in the second half. If Tomás Checa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Ermengol in the 63rd minute of play forced Bruly's goalkeeper Mathias-Alexander De Block to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Luc Van Linthaut recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edgardo Botello. Luc Van Linthaut showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Desiderio Ermengol took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mathias-Alexander De Block. Mathias-Alexander De Block dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. A collision led to Bruly getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Diederiek Van de Loock hit a great ball. Luc Van Linthaut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Edgardo Botello made a huge save. After 84 played minutes Bruly got a freekick which was hit by Luc Van Linthaut. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luc Van Linthaut got free with Edgardo Botello in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luc Van Linthaut's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Edgardo Botello skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Edgardo Botello was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Luc Van Linthaut capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luc Van Linthaut really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5.
