The crowd rose to their feet as Simoneta FC's Timoteo Rosalio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Damian Marin. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. In the 9th minute, Gaspar Gora got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joel Fonda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Epifanio Licerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Pacorro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Vladimiro Jesco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 16 minutes, Gaspar Gora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Characate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Gora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benjamin Tirso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Licerio having to interfere. Characate FC were furious when Conrado Aguilera was red carded, 32 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Venancio Pacorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Simoneta FC's Erasmo Gabon in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Venancio Pacorro charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Venancio Pacorro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes Characate FC got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Pacorro. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Simoneta FC's goalkeeper Epifanio Licerio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 62 minutes into the game, Matias Boniel lined in a short shot 2-2 behind a frustrated Epifanio Licerio. Vladimiro Jesco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Marin having to interfere. Venancio Pacorro took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Epifanio Licerio. Epifanio Licerio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Simoneta FC's Epifanio Licerio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Simoneta FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Characate FC booed when Simoneta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Che didn't get a good kick on the ball. 2-4 became the score in the 91st minute when Matias Boniel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 95 played minutes Characate FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Cristofol. Characate FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
