Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) -BZF- The Elder Gods's Horaţiu Nastac started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Iosif Filipoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th match minute, -BZF- The Elder Gods was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Mihele to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luca Mihele got free with Niculae Andronescu in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Iosif Filipoiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George Aurelianu was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. When Silviu Voicescu fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored -BZF- The Elder Gods's protests and gave Silviu Voicescu a yellow card for diving instead. Silviu Voicescu kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Costel Elefterescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. -BZF- The Elder Gods's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Ruscova the free kick. After having played for 20 minutes, Sergiu Oneț managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Ruscova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergiu Oneț was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. George Aurelianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergiu Oneț in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiu Oneț in the 25th minute of play forced -BZF- The Elder Gods's goalkeeper George Aurelianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costel Elefterescu kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute of the match Maxim Hâjdău shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but George Aurelianu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 34 played minutes -BZF- The Elder Gods got a freekick which was hit by Silviu Voicescu. When Șerban Herescu fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ruscova's protests and gave Șerban Herescu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th match minute, FC Ruscova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Șerban Herescu to maneuver through the defense. George Aurelianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergiu Oneț, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, -BZF- The Elder Gods's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Oneț came free, but George Aurelianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Aurelianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergiu Oneț, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. FC Ruscova's Niculae Andronescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horaţiu Nastac in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sergiu Oneț to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, -BZF- The Elder Gods's George Aurelianu got control of the ball when Sergiu Oneț tried to sneak it across the goal line. Niculae Andronescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horaţiu Nastac's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. A collision led to -BZF- The Elder Gods getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Florin Gârbovan hit a great ball. After 68 played minutes -BZF- The Elder Gods got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Halipa. FC Ruscova's Maxim Hâjdău got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. George Aurelianu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergiu Oneț in the 72nd minute. Horaţiu Nastac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niculae Andronescu having to interfere. Petru Brânzaș kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Niculae Andronescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horaţiu Nastac in the 87th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, FC Ruscova's goal looked a bit too open when Ştefan Burdujan came free, but Niculae Andronescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
