Pindorama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dieguinho Brodel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hipolito Nayely charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hipolito Nayely the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th match minute, TotoRACING was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Nayely to maneuver through the defense. After 10 played minutes TotoRACING got a freekick which was hit by Angel Mark. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dieguinho Brodel in the 11th minute of play forced TotoRACING's goalkeeper Hipolito Deunoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hipolito Deunoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murilo Montenegro in the 15th minute of the match. After some careless play in the TotoRACING defense, Raúl de Brito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hipolito Deunoro. The TotoRACING fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hipolito Deunoro should have stopped the shot. Murilo Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the game, Camilo Phelipe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TotoRACING's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pindorama the free kick. The TotoRACING fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hipolito Deunoro should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aírton Correia was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Raúl de Brito made a precise shot to the right of Hipolito Deunoro. TotoRACING's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Pindorama's Aírton Correia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hipolito Deunoro. That made the score 0-5 after 59 minutes of play. In the 67th minute Tiago Gabriel Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Deunoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dida Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Serafo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 minutes of play, Pindorama's Murilo Montenegro made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hipolito Deunoro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pindorama's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
