The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Aros Vandals! Aros Vandals's Ivan Mellbad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by György Kaszás in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute Kennet Qvalfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zakariás Bíró saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hans Utter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Zakariás Bíró tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Mellbad didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Szolnoki MÁV's András Kis shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Szolnoki MÁV's Zakariás Bíró played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kennet Qvalfeldt in the 31st minute of play. Aros Vandals's Hans Utter got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hans Utter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Aros Vandals players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Szolnoki MÁV were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kennet Qvalfeldt to strike the kick off in the second half. Hans Utter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Zakariás Bíró made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Ferm in the 55th minute of play. Szolnoki MÁV's Zakariás Bíró played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kennet Qvalfeldt in the 62nd minute of play. With his leg Ivan Mellbad managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Szolnoki MÁV's András Kis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kennet Qvalfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zakariás Bíró having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Szolnoki MÁV's György Kaszás ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ivan Mellbad. Ivan Mellbad yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. 78 minutes into the match, Szolnoki MÁV's András Kis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Mellbad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zakariás Bíró made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kennet Qvalfeldt in the 86th minute of play. If Kennet Qvalfeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute of the match, György Kaszás tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ivan Mellbad saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sebastian Ferm's late challenge caught a Szolnoki MÁV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Ferm helped the player get up and apologised. The audience cheered when Csanád Újvári's long shot passed Ivan Mellbad's right side. It was 0-4, 92 minutes into the match.
