In the 12th match minute, Caaguazu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordareo Lazcano to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goal looked a bit too open when William de Lara came free, but Baiardo Combarros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baiardo Combarros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celsinho Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Baiardo Combarros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William de Lara in the 17th minute of play. If William de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st match minute, Caaguazu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valente Nieva to maneuver through the defense. Baiardo Combarros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celsinho Alves's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 28th minute Valdo Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baiardo Combarros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baiardo Combarros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William de Lara in the 33rd minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Valdo Luz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Baiardo Combarros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 56th minute, Felippe Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Mancio Rapela had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Agostinho de Amorim. ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mancio Rapela was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Baiardo Combarros was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but William de Lara showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 62 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celsinho Alves in the 68th minute of play forced Caaguazu's goalkeeper Baiardo Combarros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. William de Lara scored 1-3 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baiardo Combarros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 76 minutes, Mancio Rapela made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞'s Agostinho de Amorim tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
