Aurre Belorado scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zakariás Bíró, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, Caaguazu's Felix Olloa seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Felix Olloa the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Caaguazu protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Felix Olloa had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The goalkeeper, Baiardo Combarros, was totally fooled by Szolnoki MÁV's Csanád Újvári, who 20 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Mihály Hidegkúti charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Caaguazu's Baiardo Combarros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by András Kis in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goal looked a bit too open when Csanád Újvári came free, but Baiardo Combarros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. German Canado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baiardo Combarros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Csanád Újvári, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Csanád Újvári hit a great ball.
