Spectators: 7458 (Terracing: 5594, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fausto Matai kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Chamaicó's zone, Luiz Fernando Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Pirro came out of the goal and Luiz Fernando Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fausto Matai struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Lauro Secco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chamaicó. Roberto Pirro came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Papunhas EC's Luís Fernando Nogueira. But to his dismay, Luís Fernando Nogueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Esteban Ciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 18th match minute, Chamaicó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Leguizamón to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Papunhas EC's goalkeeper Lauro Secco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fausto Matai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lauro Secco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Luís Fernando Nogueira's late challenge caught a Chamaicó's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Fernando Nogueira helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Papunhas EC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Luís Fernando Nogueira hit a great ball. Lauro Secco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Ciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Esteban Ciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Lauro Secco managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Chamaicó's Fausto Matai fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

Papunhas EC's Valério Vergílio was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 51st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Roberto Pirro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valério Vergílio in the 59th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingos Leguizamón during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Chamaicó getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Domingos Leguizamón hit a great ball. Roberto Pirro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Fernando Nogueira in the 62nd minute. Lauro Secco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Ciano in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th minute Esteban Ciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Secco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Luís Fernando Nogueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Roberto Pirro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Chamaicó booed when Papunhas EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valério Vergílio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elias Paulista's late challenge caught a Chamaicó's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
